About A Sense of Place

What does “A Sense of Place “ mean to me and the photographic images I selected to Exhibit for this exhibition?

I took the photographs in the local areas where I live and frequent in Brisbane, Queensland.

Using my landscape lens to take a broader perspective of my subjects than what I usually do. Giving a better sense of place.

Mainly taking early morning shots to capture the beautiful contrast of colours. This gives my chosen body of work a theme to work with—a purpose to take photos for.

These places, to me, are places I frequent over and over again.
